Trauma Management refers to the systematic assessment, stabilization, diagnosis, and treatment of patients who have sustained serious physical injuries. These injuries may result from road traffic accidents, falls, workplace accidents, sports injuries, burns, or other traumatic events.
The primary goal is to quickly identify life-threatening injuries, stabilize the patient, prevent further complications, and provide definitive treatment as early as possible.

Trauma patients require immediate evaluation of their vital functions and overall condition. The emergency team rapidly assesses the patient's airway, breathing, circulation, neurological status, and other signs of serious injury.
When necessary, emergency interventions are initiated immediately to stabilize the patient. Diagnostic investigations such as X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, blood tests, and other imaging studies may be performed based on the nature and severity of the injury.
Serious trauma frequently affects more than one part of the body and may require multiple specialists. Our trauma team coordinates with Emergency Medicine, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Critical Care, Anesthesiology, Radiology, and other departments according to the patient's condition.
This coordinated approach supports rapid decision-making and helps patients move efficiently from emergency assessment to surgery, intensive care, or further treatment when required.
Depending on the severity and type of injury, treatment may include wound management, bleeding control, fracture stabilization, emergency procedures, surgical intervention, blood transfusion, intensive monitoring, or other life-saving measures.
Patients requiring surgery are evaluated promptly by the appropriate surgical team. Critically injured patients can receive continued monitoring and organ-supportive care when intensive care is required.
