Unico Hospital begins the journey of healthcare delivery in 2025. We obtained the license for diagnostic services in January this year, followed by the hospital license in May 2025.

Unico Hospital is set out to be a 250-bed facility offering tertiary level services under multiple medical and surgical specialties.

Our services will spread across four realms of healthcare: Promotive Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Therapeutics & Rehabilitation and Palliative Medicine.

As part of our mission, to transform lives through excellence in healthcare, we bring together clinically sound physicians, compassionate nurses and committed support staff to ensure a comfortable experience for every patient throughout their journey at Unico Hospital. Our advanced medical equipment, some with built-in AI features, empower our physicians to make faster and accurate diagnosis. The hospital building has also been designed to enhance patient comfort and safety while retaining its functional efficiency.

Every patient presents with different needs. Though the symptoms may be alike, the emotional, physical, and cultural determinants vary for each patient. As healthcare workers, it is important that we adopt a holistic approach to understanding the needs of the patient and family. Patients are actively involved in decisions about their care, allowing them to express their concerns and preferences through our trained team of patient counselors. The care plan being prepared for the patient by the healthcare team will be personalized to suit the patient’s needs.

2. Multi-disciplinary teamwork

We believe that every member of the care team has a vital role in delivering positive treatment outcomes. The doctor’s clinical expertise is complemented by the nurse’s diligence and the technologist’s proficiency. From our Patient & Guest Relations Executive at the lobby to the housekeeper that keeps the hospital premise clean, every member of our team will do our best to give you a pleasant experience.

3. Training and Development

The healthcare service is by far the most critical and also the most dynamic. The advancements in the medical field make it necessary for the clinical team to stay updated with newer evidence-based clinical practices and surgical techniques. These advanced practices often reduce hospitalization time, improves patient safety and treatment outcomes.

Furthermore, the enhanced dependency on medical technology also mandates upgrades to one’s knowledge and skill to meet modern-day healthcare demands. We encourage our clinical, nursing and auxiliary teams to participate in continuing education programs thereby building a culture of learning and development within the institution.

4. Wellness and healthcare awareness

As a hospital, we are also responsible for raising the standards of health awareness in our community. The medial camps and Wellness with Unico initiatives focus on empowering groups to tackle common health issues like stroke, heart attack, dengue, hypertension, etc. We also conduct training on Basic Life Support for such community members. We believe that empowering the common man with health information and preventive tips to manage common diseases will aid in creating a healthier community.
