
Unico Hospital has launched a comprehensive Senior Citizen Care Program, offering special discount facilities and dedicated healthcare services for elderly patients.
Under this initiative, senior
citizens will receive special benefits and discounts on both OPD and IPD
services, including doctor consultations, laboratory services, radiology
imaging, diagnostic procedures, dialysis services and Unico@Home
initiative for seniors who are unable to travel to the hospital for their
routine check-ups, allowing them to receive healthcare services at home.
The program also encourages family involvement to support the overall well-being of senior citizens, addressing both their physical and emotional health needs.
The program was inaugurated
by Prof. Dr. Sardar A Naeem, Founder & Chairman of Japan Bangladesh
Friendship Retirement Home, along with Unico Hospital Managing Director
Tazul Islam Dhali and CEO Ardra Kurien, in the presence of
distinguished special guests. During the event, the speakers highlighted the
hospital’s commitment to providing accessible, affordable, and high-quality
healthcare services for senior citizens. Special guests also shared their
perspectives on the importance of dedicated healthcare initiatives for the
elderly.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by elderly healthcare philanthropists working to improve the quality of life for senior citizens, patients who have received treatment at Unico Hospital, press and media representatives, religious leaders, as well as the management team, doctors, and employees of the hospital.
