She is a very patient-friendly haematologist and treats all kinds of anaemia, low platelet count, thalassaemia, blood cancer (leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma), bleeding disorder, ITP, haemophilia, and anaemia of pregnancy.

Dr Tanjina Afrin specializes in all types of hematology and hematological oncology (Leukaemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma). Treatment includes chemotherapy, immunotherapy, novel therapies, and palliative cancer care. Dr Tanjina Afrin Completed Her MBBS From Bangladesh Medical College In 2012. Then She Completed Her MCPS In Clinical Pathology Degree From BCPS, And Then DCP (Diploma In Clinical Pathology) From AFIP (BUP). Finally, She Completed Her Training at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BMU) and Obtained Her FCPS (Haematology) Degree. 

Dr Tanjina Afrin began her career as an assistant professor at Northern International Medical College. Besides this, she worked as a consultant haematologist at Sankar Ibn Sina Hospital. She is also working as a consultant haematologist at Ibn Sina Medical College Hospital, Kollaynpur, and Popular Diagnostic Centre Shamoly. She has also been working in the Flow Cytometry Department at Concord Molecular Lab and Diagnostic for the last 04 Years. Now she has been working as an Associate Consultant in Clinical Haematology and Lab Medicine since 2025.

She attends many national and international conferences, seminars, Seminars And Workshops. A few research papers have been published in national and international journals. Among them, a few publications are noted below:
