Biography
Dr. G.W.M. Zahidul Hasan is an accomplished Emergency Medicine specialist with over 25 years of clinical, academic, and administrative experience across Bangladesh, India, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He currently leads the Emergency Medicine Department at Unico Hospitals PLC, a modern 250-bed tertiary care facility established with the technical support of Rajagiri Hospital (JCI-accredited), India.
Dr. Hasan’s expertise includes advanced resuscitation, trauma care, airway management, emergency procedures, team leadership, SOP development, and ED operations management. As an AHA-certified BLS & ACLS Instructor, he plays a key role in educating doctors, nurses, and mid-level providers to strengthen emergency care delivery.
He has previously served in leadership roles at United Hospital Ltd (JCI-accredited), Apollo Imperial Hospital, and Square Hospital Ltd. He has worked for more than 12 years in emergency care at various hospitals under the Saudi Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Health.
