• Anesthetic clinic services

The anesthetic clinic is the first contact of surgical and non-surgical patients with our anesthetic services. For the majority of patients, it will be their first meeting with the anesthesiologist after the decision of surgery has been made. The primary role of the anesthetic clinic is to assess, optimize and prepare patients for their upcoming surgeries. This is particularly useful for patients with multiple co morbidities and/or planned for moderate to high complexities of surgeries.

• Obstetric anesthesia services

The unit provides comprehensive care for the obstetric patient throughout her journey. This is accomplished antenatally via multidisciplinary team discussions. During labour, an array of modalities such as labour epidural, inhalational analgesia, and intravenous Patient Controlled Analgesia (PCA) are available.

• Neuroanesthesia services

The neuroanesthesia unit provides specialized anesthetic care for a comprehensive spectrum of neurosurgical procedures, vascular neurosurgery, endoscopic skull base surgery, spine surgery, pediatric neurosurgery, neuroradiology and neurointerventional procedures. We strive to deliver high quality neuroanesthesia services to our patients.

• Paediatric anaesthesia services

The age of our paediatric patients ranges from the premature neonates to adolescent with multiple co-morbidities. Our ultimate aim is to provide a comfortable experience and safe, evidence-based anesthesia to all our paediatric patients undergoing surgery.

• Orthopedic Anesthesia service

We provide upper extremity blocks for shoulder, elbow, and hand surgeries, as well as lower extremity blocks for procedures on the foot and ankle, using the latest ultrasound guided technology. For hip and knee procedures, we provide epidural, spinal, and combined epidural-spinals, offering patients alternatives to traditional general anesthetics.

• Daycare surgery services

Daycare surgery is scheduled surgical procedures to patients who do not require an overnight hospital stay. It is a process of care by which selected patients are managed with admission, treatment and discharge on the same day. Daycare surgery is often catered for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, which require local, regional or general anesthesia with minimal post-operative complications.

• Remote Anesthesia Services

Remote anesthesia services provide anesthesia and sedation outside the operation theatre that include:

• Endoscopic procedures - retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), colonoscopy,

• Oncology procedures - radiotherapy and brachytherapy

• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Interventional Radiology
